For the past year and a half, Brian and I have been working full time in Calgary doing commercial photography. The photographs we have taken have appeared in fliers, ads, store signage and on websites. It’s been really neat to have our photographs arrive in our mailbox each week. However, our true passion lies in photographing people – a shirt doesn’t make us smile or let us interact with it and we’ve really missed that aspect in our photography.
For the past six months we have been making the plan to relocate to Mannville, Alberta and open up our own studio. The time has finally come for us to put our plan into action! We have purchased a house that will allow us to have a residential gallery and studio in the town of Mannville. In December, we will be moving in and remodeling for an anticipated opening in January!
We are excited to finally be opening our studio! After a 2.5 year journey, we are finally reaching our destination!!! From back to school, to finding a new job in a new career, to six moves across 3000 miles, we are finally “coming home”.
Farewell Calgary:
