Amanda called me this summer with a specific type of session in mind. On September 20th, Amanda and Derek were celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary and Amanda wanted to celebrate it by wearing her gown and having unique bridal portraits created. She wanted to have portraits done on a beach with water while wearing her dress, a style that is popularly called a “trash the dress” session (the dress is not “trashed” but it does get wet or dirty!). I was so excited about this session and had a blast! Amanda and Derek are a fun couple with a lot of creative energy!
We started with family portraits. These two have the sweetest little guys who are very ticklish!
I then did some portraits of Derek and Amanda before we pulled out the gown!
