Brian and I are at a crossroads in our life again. I can’t explain the circumstances yet, except to say changes will be coming. We have two choices, stay safe or jump. Staying safe of course is the safe answer but then the question comes in, will we be happy? Jumping into the deep end could have two outcomes – we land steady on our feet or we fall flat on our face. I know what I want – to jump and land safely but there is no guarantee of that.
Brian and I have jumped so many times in our marriage – while the landings have been rough at times, we’ve always managed to pull it together. I want to make that happen again but it is scary and at the moment, seems impossible.
So my question to you is, do you blindly jump or stay safe when you come to a crossroads in your life? The house we rent has incredible flower gardens and every morning when I wake up, I am greeted a spectacular bouquet of colours. I often run out before work to photograph them while the sun is still low in the sky. This one I found on a morning with lots of dew. Can’t get more perfect than that!
