Dragon Hare Studios is the creative force of Brian and Kim Morritt. Together, they combine their artistic talents to bring family stories to life. Whether it’s a family welcoming their first child, or a family sending their youngest off to college, they are there to ensure your visual history will tell the true story of your family life for future generations.
Kim graduated from the prestigious Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2007. Kim is accomplished in both portraiture and commercial photography, but her passion lies with what is closest to her heart–family. Kim is an active member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) and has been bestowed with their Master of Photography designation. She is nationally accredited in commercial photography and image manipulation, as well as, family, child/newborn, grad, school, and wedding photography. Kim’s commitment to her art is evident in the numerous awards in provincial and national print competitions she has received.
Brian graduated from Aquinas College with a degree in computer technology. Brian’s understanding of the industry allows him to keep Dragon Hare abreast of industry trends and changes. Brian also works as a professional set stylist and this, combined with his natural artistic talent, results in the truly unique set designs and digital art at Dragon Hare.
In 2012, Dragon Hare moved to their current retail studio space and gallery in the Lakeland Mall in Vermilion, AB. Dragon Hare is open by appointment only so it is recommended to call ahead: 780.853.4277.
